The air was fresh and rich in moisture from an afternoon of relentless rain. Our Spring flowers were in their element, soaking up each droplet, gaining more and more color as the day went on. In the distance, beyond the fences of our yard and into the property of a neighbor, pink blossoms bloomed with a carefree spirit from tree after tree. It was a beautiful sight. Every shade of soft pink and forest green was heightened, and for a moment, looking out to the flowers with tea in hand, greens never more green, pinks never more pink, I felt as if I were in Ireland. Isn't it fun how nature can take your mind to a different country, while your body is still at home? :)
Much love, Vivi
