This entire week, from early Monday morning up until now, has been a whirlwind of events. My mornings were spent at my church's VBS, with gleeful children bursting with excitement running through the hallways and rooms of every part of the church. I was a co-leader of a team with everything from a small four year old to an eight year old. It was exhausting, inspiring, and incredibly enjoyable all at the same time. The more I was around the kids, the more I felt like a kid again. I couldn't help but run around the halls with them, and piggy-backs were a daily part of my group. :) It was so relaxing to come home last night and rest with a crackling campfire. We made s'mores and had a time to talk as a family and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Oh Summer, I'll say it again.
I love you.
Much love, Vivi

ReplyDeleteSounds like you're enjoying the summer! Those evening smores sound absolutely perfect! I keep a bag of smores supplies in a desk right next to the door leading out to the patio. Just in case somebody is in the mood!
ReplyDeleteI love these photos! Especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Summer, too... it's so sad that a month is all that remains...
What a fun way to spend your summer!!
ReplyDeleteAnd these pictures.... YUM! I can't even remember the last time I've eaten a smore... how SAD!
smores are one of my most favorite treats
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree with you. A summer without s'mores hardly feels like summer at all.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of putting chocolate chips with s'mores! That is such a great idea and since I'm going camping in a couple of weeks, I'll have to try it. I love kids - they brighten up this world! Lovely photos.
